Marit Kangas
Marit is Swedish-Finnish and was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her love for sled dogs is a family affair; Marit's grandfather mushed dogs to work as a forest ranger in Lapland in the 1930s and her grandmother, Lea Selma, and
the legendary Norwegian sled dog driver, Leonhard Seppala, were cousins.
Besides being in charge of the daily care of the dogs, Marit also runs
SkyFyre Publications, a company focusing on brand development and communication. Before returning to her roots in Arctic Lapland, Marit studied Social Anthropology at the University of Kent at Canterbury
in England. Her main interests are sledding, skijoring, hiking, writing, photography and studying the Arctic regions.

Kaisa Kangas
Marit's mother Kaisa is a great supporter of the kennel. She does an excellent job dog sitting and helping out with puppies and all dogs love her!
Johann Andersson
Johann is a dear friend who has been part of the kennel since day one. He loves the dogs and often visits to take them hiking or skijoring. Thanks Johann for the support and for all the fun we've had on the trail!
