During spring the deep snow is often covered in a layer of supportable crust which makes it possible to travel <br> easily off trail, skijoring or sledding in any direction. <br><br><br><br> <img src=fellworld4.jpg border="1"><br>Leia and Thunder are eagerly climbing the last hill before we reach the plateau. <br><br><br><br> <img src=fellworld6.jpg border="1"><br>It looks cold, but today's temperature of only -4°C (25°F) is the warmest we've had this winter. <br><br><br><br> <img src=fellworld7.jpg border="1"><br>The windblown trail is invisible in many places - at least to the human eye.
