Personality
Jeti, named after her grandfather, Mtn Home's Aerodynamic Jet, WTD, is the singleton puppy from our first litter born during spring 2007. We are very pleased with how she is
turning out; just like her parents, Jeti has a confident and outgoing and willing to please personality. She has lots of energy and is an athletic and
intelligent girl who's always eager to learn.
Working
Jeti has many outstanding sled dogs behind her parents. Her sire and dam both work in lead on their respective team and have passed on this quality to their daughter. During her first sledding season (spring 2008) Jeti showed that she is a natural in harness, displaying a lot
enthusiasm and drive when working on the team or as a skijoring companion. Jeti completed the requirements for her Working Team Dog title during spring 2009 and
during next winter we'll be training her in lead position on our team.
Prior to starting her training as sled dog Jeti has been to puppy class and to puppy agility class and
really seems to enjoy the speed and action on the agility course. During the summer of 2008 she has also been introduced to packing and loves the adventure on the trail!
Conformation
Jeti is a standard sized female of good substance. She has the well coordinated movement and drive that is so important in a working Malamute together with strong limbs and feet.
Jeti has a thick coat of the correct texture, a correct bite, black pigmentation, dark eyes and a loose, waving tail. This is a powerful girl with great zest for life!
