- October - Tuisku's Mom goes BISS!
We're sending out a HUGE congratulation to Maureen Andersen and Pam Kovac for their success at the Working Alaskan Malamute Club of Manitoba's Specialty Show on October 10, 2010, where Am. Can. Ch. Keikewabic's Tundra Bewitched, "Brooke", won the breed from the Veteran's Class at the age of eight years and a half. Brooke, beautifully handled by Pam Kovac, can now add a BISS-title to her name! Tuisku is mighty proud of his Mom! The win is of course extra cool since this specialty show was arranged by a working club. |

- August - Summer breeding
We've been on a trip to Arctic Norway, visiting Beaver's Creek kennels in Neiden where Gem has been bred to Beaver's Creek MK C'Chinook - a beautiful dog with a wonderful disposition and great work ethic. We welcome inquiries from active, outdoorsy people that can provide a loving home for one of our puppies. Update: Unfortunately, we have no puppies available this year.

February - Our Other Pets
Besides having a pack of Malamutes we also enjoy the company of a large herd of reindeer. Strictly speaking, the reindeer do not really belong to us but
since they spend nearly all winter just outside our cabin, are feeding off the lichen and trees on our land, and are always accompanying us on the trail when we go sledding, we have come to regard them as "part of the family". Click here to view more photos.
